Genomic & Data Resources

The Sword Lab continues to generate some large DNA sequence data sets in support of multiple projects. This page will provide access to genomic resources, data sets, and analysis tools generated by the lab as they become publicly available.

Cotton fleahopper (Pseudatomoscelis seriatus, Hemiptera:Miridae)

  • Raw ddRAD-Seq data deposited in the NCBI Sequence Read Archive (SRA accession: PRJNA510397)
  • Sequence processing, SNP calling, and SNP filtering commands can be accessed via GitHub
  • Originating publication: Raszick, T.J., Suh, C.P.-C., Dickens, C. M. & Sword, G.A. (2020) Genome-wide markers reveal temporal instability in population genetic structure in the cotton fleahopper, Pseudatomoscelis seriatus. Pest Management Science 76:324-332.

Boll weevil (Anthonomus grandis, Coleoptera: Curculionidae)

  • ddRAD-Seq data, whole genome sequence data and analyses forthcoming

Fall armyworm (Spodoptera frugiperda, Lepidoptera:Noctuidae)

  • ddRAD-Seq data and analyses forthcoming

Cotton bollworm/Corn earworm (Helicoverpa zea, Lepidoptera: Noctuidae)

  • NGS amplicon and whole genome sequence data and analyses forthcoming
